According to core samples Earths CO2 levels doubled some 55 million years ago, the PETM period, causing a rapid rise in global temps of some 13 degrees fahrenheit.

So what happened 55 million years ago? They are not sure. Some 65 million years ago, its now suggested, that a huge volcano/caldera, went off which then wiped out the dinosaurs. Then it was the Yucatan asteroid…

Anyway, at the current rate of CO2 production the level will double sometime in the next century and that, it seems, is the tripwire point to runaway heating…that is if we dont blow ourselves up first.

Do the people paying those premiums understand how their health dollars are being used to lobby for practices that keep their insurance expensive instead?  [Since 2001 health insurance costs have risen by some 120%]
